Tersia Hoffmann is a self-taught South African artist renowned for her vibrant and expressive oil paintings. Based in the picturesque town of Wilderness along the Garden Route, she has dedicated over 40 years to her artistic journey, with the past two decades focused on mastering the depth and richness of oil painting.

Her studio, Tersia Hoffmann Art Studio, has been her creative sanctuary for the past 15 years, where she passionately brings her visions to life. Her work has earned multiple awards at exhibitions hosted by the South Cape Association for Visual Arts (SCAVA), affirming her talent and dedication to the arts.

Guided by an intuitive understanding of color, light, and movement, Tersia’s bold brushwork transcends conventional rules of composition. While she respects artistic principles, she thrives on pushing boundaries to create compelling visual harmony and tension within her pieces.

Beyond her own practice, Tersia is deeply involved in the art community. As a committee member of the South Cape Association for Visual Arts ( SCAVA ), she plays an active role in nurturing and promoting the visual arts in South Africa.
